Es gibt (gab) guten Proggi!

Ich habe eigentlich lange gedacht, dass Proggi eine relativ neue Erscheinung ist. Ich habe zwar schon ein paar mal so halbwegs etwas mitbekommen von älterem Proggi, aber mich nie wirklich damit befasst. Älter heisst in diesem Fall so ca. 10 Jahre alt. Nun habe ich mir mal ein paar Oldschool-Progressive Tracks angehört und muss sagen: Das ist ganz was anderes als moderner Proggi!!! Viel mehr Groove, kräftige Beats. Zwar recht gemächlich, aber trotzdem allgemein eine Spur schneller als moderner Proggi. Es ist im Grunde das selbe WUMPA WUMPA WUMPA wie heute, nur fährt es irgendwie mehr ein.

hehe, ist immer wieder schön, seinen Horizont erweitern zu können.

Progi ist noch nicht ganz tot, wenn auch fast. Neben viel Einheitsbrei, gibt es zum glück immer wieder einzelne Perlen. Und mit AirNan und Invisible Realitiy bringen zwei Acts bald zwei solche raus. Endlich mal wieder ein Grund, um sich auch mit neuen CDs hinters Mischpult zu stellen.

A new power is rising to shake the grounds of southern Scandinavia and the whole world along with it: PANZAR PRODUKTIONZ!

It's a group of artists & Djs united by one wish, one goal and one music: PROGRESSIVE TRANCE ... like you never heard it before!
Although Panzar Produktionz officially started off in early 2009, the roots of it go back as far as 7 years, to 02/03, the period of time when the progressive trance scene was big and new, many artists a big part of them also from scandinavia, where they were producing creative output and the sound was fresh and biting, no rules applied.

But unfortunately the progressive trance music scene has changed a lot in these 7 years, developing more and more into sounding kind of "all the same" generic house-electro with a plastic aftertaste, even though being presented as "progressive"! the diversity and colorful creativity of the music is nowadays almost totally gone and has been replaced with fake sterile sounds and atmospheres and the amount of still good releases kept steadily declining.

In addition to that, this was not a problem of only the progressive scene, but sort of had infected the trance scene on a bigger scale...

And this finally has been the point where it all began, a group of people gathered themselves together in the south of Sweden & Denmark, all united by the same opinion that the currently released progressive trance was not what they wanted it to be. But instead of accepting it as a fact and just walking away, they united their forces and motivated themselves to change the status quo and bring back the fire into the sound altogether with the creativity, diversity and good vibes that this music originally had to offer!
Progressive, raw, positive and straight to the point,
that's what the sound should be.
This has become the goal of the collective already from an early starting point on.
And that is how this organization has been established.
Originally there were the plans to found the institution as a record label (Panzar Rekordz), but not long afterwards people saw that together they were actually doing much more than just releasing music.

i'm really not a big fan of the nowadays progy sound (thanks to mr. neelix, vayshyas, a.ventura, l.soul....the list is too long).
but these guys here simply ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCKS!!!!!!
their discography is a chest filled with pumping floor killaz for the late morning!!!
hope that more people will try to go the same path. keep moving ffw!!!

Ach ja, und aufgepasst auf "The Riddler"! Die Samples hören sich mehr als viel versprechend an, kein Wunder, steht ja auch Goran Juric aka Talpa hinter dem Projekt...

Bin gerade auf der such nach "gutem" Progi so wie ich ihn noch von früher kenne *grins* und man ihn vereinzelt noch auf der ein oder anderen Party erleben darf

So zu Orientierung habe ich ein paar herausgepickt, welche ich heute nach ein wenig recherchieren (danke schon mal für die Inputs von euren vorigen Postings!) als "gut" bezeichnen würde.

Ich bin leider ein zu grosser Laie was die Dj s und die jeweiligen Untergruppierungen der jeweiligen Musiksparten betrifft (tanze jedoch leidenschaftlich gerne zu gutem Progi der schön wummert und nicht zu psychedelisch anmutet)
Ich zitiere noch aus Laut.de über Goa Musik damit ihr noch besser wisst welche Art von Progi ich meine
"Progressive: Entsteht ebenfalls um die Jahrtausendwende. Ähnlich wie Psy-Trance pumpt der Bass fett und groovig. Im Mittel- und Hochfrequenzbereich ist Progressive deutlich reduzierter. Hier sind keine oder nur sehr selten Loops oder Melodien zu finden. Die Sounds reduzieren sich auf kleine Knarzer, Knackser, Bleeps und dergleichen, welche in minimalistischer Weise verzerrt und verändert werden. Mehr Wert wird auf intelligente Rhythmus-Variationen gelegt. Insgesamt gilt das Motto "Weniger = Mehr"."

Vielleicht kann mir jemand von euch ja noch ein paar Tips geben damit ich mal wieder bei Partys auf meine Kosten komme und nicht genervt von der Musik sein muss, welche mir halt zu meist überhaupt nicht mehr einfährt, da man auf den jetzigen Goa Partys eigentlich nur noch Einheitsbrei Psygedüdel hört oder so Mainstream Progi der auch mein Herz nicht beflügelt
