there are some talking,they the Island will be close,cause of over booking,but the psy organizers now talking about renting big boats around Amami,and have a party there.
anyway,if some of you wanna planning to come for sure,you better book your flights now,cause its going to be impossible in few month,cause also non party people are planning to arrive for the T.S.E!
I advise you to arrive at least 2/1,5 weeks before the event!

Jep, haben wir auch vernommen.
Habs nun endlich geschafft in Kontakt mit Japan-Fraggels zu kommen die an der "Quelle" sind. Die idee mit den Booten ist konkret, gibt aber noch keine infos. Das Gelände auf amami ist für eine Woche wärend der Sonnenfinsternis reserviert. Betr. Flüge:
Das Problem ist das man inlandflüge z.b Tokyo-amami oder osaka-amami mit jal erst 2-3 monate im vorraus buchen kann. Ausser man verbindet es mit einem Internationalen flug über ein Reisebüro. Aber auch das reisebüro kann den inlandflug noch nicht buchen, geben euch aber die garantie, das das sobald möglich erledigt wird. Am günstigsten kommt man mit Finnair nach Japan, die haben auch immer mal wieder Aktionen für 900.-!! ohne Aktion ca. 1400.- was auch nicht soooo übel ist.

Es gibt auch div. Fähren die Amami anlaufen aus Tokyo,osaka,kagoshima,okinawa u.s.w Infos ebenfalls auf Facebook.

Es loooont sich allemal mal nach japan zu fliegen und die dortige Psytrance scene auszukuntschafften, freuen sich alle risig auf die Gaijins

In General they say that less then 7000people can enter the Island!
And booking for Amami (flight/ferry) is possible only 2 month before the date,but if you book international flights,its possible to book flight till Amami!
So the foreigners have bigger chance to enter the island!

Flüge sind am günstigsten mit http://www.finnair.com 1350.- chf bis osaka. Der Inlandflug von osaka nach amami retour mit http://www.JAL.com kostet ca. 350.- und kann nur in der Kombination mit dem Langstreckenflug *jetzt schon* gebucht werden. Ansonsten erst 2 Monate vor Abflug.

Hmmm...... Nach Japan wollte ich eh schon lange mal......und geplant für nächstes Jahr hab ich nichts.....und dann ist noch diese Sonnenfinsternis.....hmmm.....

1350 nach Japan ist ja wirklich ein sehr günstiger Preis! Da kosten Brasilien oder Thailand jedenfalls mehr.....huh.....vielleicht einen Monat Japan nächstes Jahr? Wär schon was! Nur, 4 Wochen sind wohl etwas kurz?!

Wenn du 4 Wochen nach Japan willst, würde ich das auf keinen Fall im Juli machen. Bin jedes Jahr Ende Juli bis Anfangs August in Osaka (geschäftlich) und im Juli ist es da extrem heiss (ca. 35° am Tag, 28° in der Nacht), verbunden mit 90-95 % Luftfeuchtigkeit. Nicht besonders angenehm. Die Party ist ja zwar weiter nördlich, somit ists sicher weniger heiss dort, aber wohl immer noch "feucht".

Betr. Flug nach Osaka: Finnair (via Helsinki) und Lufthansa (via Frankfurt) sowie KLM (Amsterdam) sind normalerweise die günstigsten, aber wenn die Preise von JAL (via London) oder Emirates (via Dubai) nicht viel daneben liegen, würde ich euch diese Linien empfehlen, mehr Platz und viel besserer Service (Emirates Flug ist zwar deutlich länger als die andern, dafür gibts Shopping am Flughafen Dubai 24h/day). Lufthansa hat als einzige der genannten Gesellschaften kein individuelles Unterhaltungssystem an Bord, d.h. 1 Screen für ca. 10 Sitzreihen. Macht den Flug ziemlich mühsam. Bei allen andern Linien hat jeder Seat sein eigenes Unterhaltungsprogramm (bei Finnair bin ich mir nicht ganz sicher).

Falls Aufenthalt in Osaka oder Tokio geplant, würde ich Tokio bevorzugen, aus dem einfachen Grund dass dort wenigstens teilweise englische Beschriftungen und Speisekarten vorhanden sind, während Osaka praktisch rein japanisch daherkommt. Gibt auch mehr anzuschauen in Tokio, in Osaka ist da nicht so viel Interessantes zu sehen (ausser Kyoto, ca 30 Min mit dem Zug entfernt).

Nie Trinkgeld geben (gilt als Beleidigung)! Kriminalität tendiert zu Null, also mindestens so sicher wie in CH.

We are sure that the transportation arrangement to Amami-Oshima will very difficult . We recommend that you will better arrange your trip schedule ;one or two weeks before and after the festival days if possible.
Since in Amami-Oshima there are very few hotels,it will be very difficult to make reservation of the hotels.At the festival site,we will arrange some tent-sites.But you all have to bring your own tents and beddings to stay there.We hope you will be ready to get adjusted yourselves to the Amami-Oshima climate-over 35℃ and very high humidity-during your camping style stay.
You will be free to come in and out of the festival, please enjoy the wonderful sites of Amami island.
There is limited number of parking spaces available at the festival site, please use public transport if possible.
There will be no refund for the event being cancelled due to weather or in case of war breaking out.
There will be an Identification check points at the entrance, please bring a form of photo id with you.
The festival will go ahead in case of rain or storm, bring necessary equipment.
We will forbid any recording equipment, anything illegal, any nuisance behavior!
We regret there will be no refund for the change of line ups.
We may have to restrict the number of guests.
We will not be responsible for theft, lost items at the festival, please look after your own belongings!

Hello to all beautiful souls!
I got the Ferry schedule for July.
There is a ferry leaving from Osaka on July 14th,arriving to Amami Island
on July 16th morning.
cheapest ticket for 15,100Yen~150$ for one way, at the open space(no chairs,sitting on the floor (0_0)...
Room for 8ppl(8beds) will be ~18,000Yen per person.
Im going to book a place for myself on June 14,as its only possible early booking date.
Anyone would like me to book for them a ferry,please mail me before June 1st.
