This might be the very reason why Raja Ram won't agree to do shpongle live through Ron Rivlin and CoastiiCoast . Also a major question around the contract fee Contract signed for on behalf of the band Simon Holtom Manager Twisted Records London UK and Spiro Boursine Promoter, Dance Aid Pty,Ltd, Melbourne Australia. This is about money and somebody loosing a lot of money that was invested into a bogus company , seems someone is trying to make some money back they lost of other peoples money into a bad investment.

Dear all

We have recently had our Shpongle tour canceled and have been slandered by the tour agent Simon Holton and co agent Ron Rilvin.

In a recent press release from him he stated

"It was agreed that no promotion would take place prior to deposit"

In another public statement co agent Ron Rilvin stated

"The Shpongle tour was canceled two weeks ago"

Both comments are false and was not agreed upon on our contractual agreement and nor via email correspondence between all
parties involved.

Please see contract attached as proof that Simon's comments are false and misleading.

We are now in the process of commencing litigation against Simon Holton from Twisted Records and Ron Rilvin from Coast to
Coast for damages caused to our company.

Earthcore has been instructed to cease all trading until litigation has been commenced upon various parties and a outcome has
been made.

This topic presented like that is bullshit dude...

Look at the contract before you start trashing people please!!

They say its a contract for 2 gigs and not only one... so its 50'000 euros per gig... right?
And these gigs are not just with Simon P and Raja... the live band they are talking about is composed of 12 artists.

So after these details you can see that each artists gets less than... 4200 euros per gig...

Now if you consider all these small details (that you forgot to talk about), and if you consider we are talking about Shpongle live band (that was done less than 5 times since they started this project!) maybe you want to reconsider the interest of such a topic.

Personally, since I know a few artists in this scene (and the fee they are asking for), and have booked Simon for Hallucinogen I can tell you that, in my opinion, its maybe a bit expensive (I mean the expenses especially will be a cost), but I still would consider it quite a fair offer for a country like Austalia, with such a huge scene.

I don't really understand why we accept that other mainstream artists make alot of money but as soon as we talk about psy acts we decide that they should not be able to make there living from there musical talent. Wake up hippies... these artists are much more talented than most of the mainstream acts... we love there sound and respect there talent... then why shouldn't they be able to make a comfortable living from they art???

i've always been convinced that doing something you love for the rest of your life regardless of pay rather than doing something you hate for a big paycheck was the way to a more wealthy life. while i also admit it can't buy you happiness, it can make some things easier.

... personally i think the complete shpongle band is worth the money demanded ... who knows how long the band will continue to exist, but i'm eagerly awaiting their next album.

So I would say congratulation for these guys if they can get a premium fee for making what they love to make.
