do you have any further details to how this thing works?
you just point a beamer at the sculpture and that's it? do you control the lights manually? are they synched to some audio source? they look a bit out of synch on the vimeo vid sometimes...

The trick is to model the basic structure in 3dsmax, based on the real styro structure dimension. Then i create the animations and the masks for my vj soft (Pilgrim). The animations are mixed live , so i can follow any kind of music (but i am not accurate as a musician). The eq on the side and all the flashy lights are generated by the audio signal in realtime.
